I awoke, gasping for air. Memories faded of the boat ride, we went too fast. Looking around, I see the boat, and all of our things. Where is everyone else? Trying to move my limbs, they feel like stone. The sand is cold, scratching my skin, blood from my cuts tints it I red. In hope, I try crawling to the boat. Luckily, under a lifejacket there is a box of matches, only four left. Striking the match, nothing. They must be wet. I'm at my last match, As the flame flickered and then went out, I lost all hope. Suddenly I hear the sound of an helicopter.

I plunged on my bed, I had a terribly long day and I finally get to rest. Booming thunder awoke me from my slumber. Slumping further into my bed, trying to fall back to sleep. I heard my door opening. It was my little sister, in her orange pyjamas. She stared in silence, her eyes swam with tears.
"I'm scared..." She says. I groan and move over. Quickly I fall asleep, I hear the door open once again. I groan and look over, it's my two other siblings, and my dog.
"Can we stay in here?"
I hate being the oldest.

I knew that it would be my time to leave earth. Closing my eyes, they don't seem to be able to open anymore. Suddenly I'm blinded by light, my eyes focus on a beautiful scenery. Beautiful flowers bordered an elegant stairway, a great blue ocean behind it. I walk up the stairway, it feels like hours. Sweat was starting to appear on my forehead, and my calfs were burning. Looking behind me, I was barely half way!
"I'm not doing this stupid hike to heaven," I pant "I give up!"
I walk down the stairs, wondering why couldn't they just put an elevator.

The sound of my alarm awoke me from my deep slumber. Looking at my clock, it was already eight! Running down the stairs and not caring about going to school in my P.J's or having breakfast. I grab my backpack, shoes, and run as fast as I could to school. As soon as I'm about to enter my school grounds, it's a bit too quiet. No cars were parked in the parking lot, and no one on the playground. The only sound you could hear was me gasping for air. Suddenly I realized something... Today was a Pro-D day.
